Laser cutting is fast, but it leaves two problems: burrs (small raised edges) and oxide scale (discolored surface). For parts that must be safe to handle, paint-ready or weld-ready, both must be removed.

Method 1: Hand Deburring

Pros: zero equipment cost, works for tiny quantities.
Cons: slow, inconsistent, labor-intensive, dangerous for operators.
